Applying this replaces ammo for every target. You can choose different ammo in an individual target row.

* Among single methods for the whole route, including stock and reserve. Mixtures are compared in ammunition selection. Weapon and research costs are excluded.

Already at the base

Enter the ammo you already have. We subtract it from your loadout and calculate materials only for the rest.

Resources and components

Stock is used in order: finished ammo, components, gunpowder and raw materials. It is saved with the calculation, so check your base stock before raiding.

Shows resources needed by at least one option, plus Sulfur. Zero Sulfur does not mean other materials or finished ammunition are already available.

Replaces individual methods and mixtures. Targets, stock and reserve are kept; use the browser Back button to return.

Compares only missing resources. Existing items are not considered free; their value is not estimated here. Lowest Sulfur excludes speed, weapon and research costs, damage to nearby structures and finding new mixtures. Existing mixtures remain part of the current comparison plan.

Ammunition → shared crafting

Transfer the full raid loadout and your current stock. The crafting calculator subtracts finished items once, so you do not need to subtract them yourself.

The new calculation uses base Rust client recipes, build 25129251. Values may differ from the raid reference; server modes are not detected.

Raid targets and methods remain in this section. Add other items and save a separate kit in shared crafting.

15 ship attack methods
Separate cannon calculation
RustHelp reference model, 30 Aug 2026

This calculation uses a published table that we have not tested in game. The source does not identify its game build. Cannonballs use 51.85 HP; older comments citing 50/51 HP have not been reconciled with the table. Actual damage depends on hit conditions and server settings.

Calculates the total HP pool of a completed ship. Shipyard parts, wrecks, combat repairs, fire and area damage are excluded. Destroying a cannon does not mean sinking the ship.

Sources read 2026-09-07; recipes — client 25129251. “Total cost” assumes empty stock; “Missing” accounts for your supplies.

Shared stock for the entire naval plan. Finished ammunition, Gun Powder and resources are subtracted once.

How to use less Sulfur

Finds single methods and pairs for the selected row. Other targets stay unchanged; stock and cost are calculated for the entire plan.

Select up to four methods. Ranks by missing Sulfur, then Charcoal, then uses. These are the best results among the selected single methods and pairs.

Deep Sea

How the sea zone changes ship preparation and defence.

Facepunch sources

Going to sea

Deep Sea opens for a limited time. After a wipe, the zone appears after a delay; schedules depend on server settings. RHIBs cannot enter.

Update 05.03.2026

A ship instead of a normal base

Normal base building is not available here. Ship block damage cannot be calculated as ordinary wall damage.

Update 05.02.2026

Repairs on islands

Each island has a Boat Building Station for repairing and modifying your ship. Older advice that ships cannot be changed in Deep Sea is outdated.

Update 05.03.2026

Hits change the battle

Repeated cannon hits may slow a ship to 30% of its maximum speed. Individual blocks of sunken ships can be destroyed to access loot.

Update 05.03.2026

Deck defence

The official update excludes Auto Turrets and SAM Sites from permitted ship deployables.

Update 05.03.2026

The calculator above uses a separate reference model for completed ships. These tips do not change its values. Damage to individual shipyard blocks and wrecks is excluded; modified servers may use different rules.

Calculation conditions and sourcesFull HP, damage limits and disputed tables

What the calculation includes

  • Each target has full HP. Walls use their hard side; targets are destroyed separately.
  • Each target can use one ammunition type or a mixture. A mixture's per-target consumption is multiplied by the number of separate targets; reserve is then added and stock subtracted per ammunition type. Damage to nearby structures, misses, repairs and server modifiers are excluded.
  • Explosive 5.56 assumes an AK without attachments. Other weapons may use different amounts. Satchel failures affect timing; raid duration is not estimated here.
  • The Mixing Table changes Charcoal consumption for Gun Powder. Reserve adds ammunition, not damage.
